Feed an Orphanage to Celebrate Global EP’s Birthday

Feed an Orphanage to Celebrate Global EP’s Birthday

Our second birthday is fast approaching. This year, our goal is to feed an orphanage for two months. You can donate here to be a part of making this happen.

Education is at the forefront of our mission, but without sufficient food, children can’t concentrate in class or complete homework. Malnutrition can also lead to long-term learning difficulties and memory problems.

The orphanage you will help sponsor cannot feed the children unless we provide the food.

What will your donation buy?

Sponsor a child:

$1 feeds 1 child for 1 day.

$30 feeds 1 child for 1 month.

$60 feeds 1 child for 2 months.

Sponsor the entire orphanage:

$300 will feed the entire orphanage for 1 day.

$2100 will feed the entire orphanage for 1 week.

$9000 will feed the entire orphanage for 1 month.

$18,000 will feed the entire orphanage for 2 months (our goal!).

Malnutrition is a huge barrier to education and anti-human trafficking efforts in Haiti.

Part of this is, as mentioned above, children have difficulty learning when they are starving. 29.7 percent of children in Haiti are moderately malnourished. 18.9 percent are acutely malnourished.

Malnutrition also increases human trafficking. Families that can’t afford food are more likely to sell their children to human traffickers in restavek agreements. An impoverished person is more vulnerable to labor exploitation. Desperation for food can lead a person to work in dangerous and harmful conditions.

Overall, malnutrition keeps people stuck in poverty. Your donation to Global Education Philanthropists will help stop this. Help us feed an orphanage today by donating here.We are a 501(c)(3) charity, all donations are tax-deductible.
